What is ProBeach Okanagan?

We specialize in training elite beach volleyball athletes right here in the Okanagan Valley. If you’re serious about taking your game to the next level, you’ve come to the right place.

Our program is designed for driven players with the passion and determination to reach the top. We have access to professional athletes and coaches from the AVP and FIVB circuits, ensuring that we are teaching the latest methods offering a comprehensive and cutting-edge training experience.

What are you located?
We are located in the beautiful Okanagan Valley (British Columbia) 3 hours drive from Vancouver in what we like to call the Napa Valley of the north; Kelowna BC. Our private fully equipped court is located at 2591 Butt Road in West Kelowna.
Travel to and from our facility on the westside isn’t as scary as it seems and of course does vary depending on the time of day.
Average Travel Times:
Travelling from Upper Mission – 30 minutes.
Travelling from the Airport – 31 minutes.
Travelling from Glenmore – 20 minutes.
Travelling from Vernon – 1 hour
Travelling from Kamloops – 2hours

Where do you Train?
We have a fully equipped private sand court in West Kelowna located at 2591 Butt Road.

The Sand: The best sand in the Okanagan… period. (Not available anywhere else in the Okanagan). No rocks or pebbles here.
The Net: State-of-the-art NCAA adjustable net system and a full 10′ surround net. We spend more time practicing then worrying about shagging balls off the street or out of the lake.
The Balls: Over 100 of the best AVP volleyballs. (No replicas here).
The Lights: Professionally lit volleyball court. Yes we can play late into the evening on those hot days.

We also have access to rent one of the many other multicourt facilities around town if registration numbers require however we like to keep coach:athlete ratios small.

Can anyone request training?
While our club focus is geared toward elite players and mostly invite only, we do more than anything coach for the love of the game. If you are serious about getting your game to the next level but not sure where you are skill wise then please do contact us first and we will do our best to help figure out your training options.

Payments and Fees.
We are about half the cost of our closest equivalent /competitor in the lower mainland so that’s a good thing ;-)
We are also fully aware of the financial commitments already on the table for most families at this time of year  especially during Provincials and Nationals. If you have any questions about Payment then please do not hesitate to ask. Send us a quick email and we will do our best to work with you.

Do I need to register with a partner?
No, you can register individually HOWEVER it is much easier to train with one so please do your best to bring one with you. Make sure you enter their name on the registration form so we can match you up and have a better idea on numbers.  Your partner must also register.

Where do I register and where do I send payment?
You may register by using this link . Payment can be made by sending an e-transfer to admin@probeachokanagan.com. We can also offer online payments such as PayPal if required.

What time of the day are practices?
The court is open and available for training from 8:00am to 9:00pm Mon-Fri as well as most weekends. We will be able to create multiple 1.5-3 hour time slots throughout the day in the summer and will do our best to make it work for everyone. Most of the training will be from 8am-12pm and 5pm-9pm. 32-38 1.5 hours sessions  throughout the season in small coach:athlete ratios (1:4, 1:8 or 1:10) .
Exact times are TBD.

Do you offer grass volleyball training?
No, we do not offer grass Volleyball training. Grass volleyball is great for ”touches” for those who are looking to play the sport of volleyball throughout the summer however there is usually no ”training or coaching” whatsoever. Grass volleyball is simply playing a loose version of the game in the 2’s, triples, reverse 2’s, 4’s format on the grass.

2026 Zones/ Team BC Training Questions:

What happens if I am accepted to the Team BC / Zones/ Summer Games teams?
For anyone unable to commit to the full summer of training, special considerations will be made on a case by case basis. Historically, Team BC Zones training has been on the weekends (3-4 full day practices) so everyone in the zone can attend which should not affect our practice schedule. We will adjust to the  Team BC training schedules and make sure not to overwork our athletes who are participating in both.

We may also consider backloading our practice schedules for those selected to Team BC and zones once they have concluded.
*Euan is also the head coach of the 2026 17U Boys BC Summer Games Beach team so we understand just how busy this summer will be.
