Getting started

Ready for the next level?

Beach volleyball training for athletes ready to elevate their game is what we do best. With the 2026 Summer Beach season approaching, we’re seeking dedicated, highly competitive players committed to developing at an elite level.

Our lead coach “Euan” is  the only Certified AVP coach this side of Saskatchewan. A proud certified coach and supporter of the AOC – Art of Coaching Volleyball, and a member of both the AVP and SCVA (Southern California Volleyball Association). Backed by more than 30 years of combined indoor and beach coaching experience—and direct access to current and former AVP and FIVB professionals—you’ll be training in an environment built for serious progression.

In 2019 we partnered with World Beach Champion Sarah Pavan and ran a very successful and excited clinic for our local youth under our former name “AVP Academy Okanagan”.

In 2023, we partnered with recently retired AVP professional Chase Frishman’s Flight School, along with AVP/FIVB pros Troy Field, Evan Cory and Toni Rodriguez just to name a few and we’re excited to work toward bringing Flight School back to Kelowna for another round of high-level, high-energy clinics and events.

Beach Training

Driven by strong demand from top-tier athletes across the region—from 14U boys and girls to U SPORTS competitors training for the national team—we are launching a dedicated beach volleyball training center for high-performance athletes in the Okanagan Valley. This program is designed for committed players who are serious about training, competing, and performing at the highest level.

Training Program Features:

– AVP & AOC Certified, top level coaching.
– Small group sizes (1 coach to 8-10 athletes) ensure high- quality, focused training.
– Private beach volleyball court allows for training opportunities at different times throughout the day.
Pre-season training begins– May 11- June (2 days/ week for select age groups TBD based on registration numbers)
Summer training– July- late August (min. 3 days/ week)
– Pro- Beach Okanagan t- shirt
– Local tournament coaching and support
– Select out-of-town tournament coaching and support

Training will be offered from 8am-12pm and 5pm-9pm.  There will be 32-38 practices throughout the season depending on registration numbers in small coach:athlete ratios (1:4, 1:8 or 1:10). Each training session will be 1.5-2 hours long depending once again on registration numbers. While the majority of training will take place either early morning or late afternoon each age group will be required to train at least one or two times in the heat of the day (12pm-5pm) as well as in the wind or rain.

For anyone unable to commit to the full summer (July/August) of training, (Selected for Team BC / Zones) special considerations will be made on a case by case basis. See our FAQ’s page for more information.

*Athletes attending should have prior beach volleyball experience and a very high level of indoor training.
